I love making things, I love events and I love events about making things. Creativity fuels me, but not just me. There is something uniquely magical about the community that surrounds creativity. It can be so motivating to meet in a craft circle and share progress on a project week after week and invigorating to gather for workshops and share experiences with new peers. Attending creative events allows the space for beautiful connection with like-minded neighbors and gives opportunities to support artists to make a living.

I frequently find myself scrolling social media looking for the next creative event, art workshop, street fair, open studio, demo, pop-up, or appearance from an artist I follow. I browse hashtags and community pages for the goings-on here in New York’s Catskill Mountains, the Hudson Valley and my home state of New Jersey, too. I have often wished there was a place I could go to find all of the events, creatives and art communities I seek. So, I’m *creating* that place.
