The Hobart Exchange
- Nestled in the book village, this shop is part book store, part country store, and home to Caban Company’s art classes. They have an amazing array of art supplies at a rural location – I like their craft kits best. Open Daily.

Chicory Naturalist
- This shop boasts gifts and games for the naturalist as its name suggests. I found some great nature-inspired art books and natural watercolor paints. Open Thursday – Monday.

Creative Corner Books and New York Books & Ephemera
- These co-located stores offer a lot for the creative. On one side, find craft & DIY books on everything from needle arts, to paper crafts, to gardening or woodworking. On the other, find NY centric books, tons of ephemera, handmade in NY items and more. Open Daily (Summer). I have some collage fodder and stickers from here. Open Thursday – Sunday (Winter).

Bloom Fabric, Art & Retreat
- Bloom is a sweet shop for soft crafts, like quilting, knitting, and crochet. They host occasional events and retreats. I’ve grabbed embroidery hoops and other notions and gifts here. Open Wednesday – Sunday.
